Cloud Architect (Remote)

This position is a remote/telecommute position. 

 

Summary

As a Cloud Architect, you will discover and analyze our prospective clients technical requirements, and collaborate with the sales and technical delivery teams to leverage Microsoft cloud solutions. You will need excellent communication and people skills, as you’ll be a crucial part of the first in-depth experience our prospective clients have with Comparex. Having a balance of technical expertise that allows you to lead technical discussions with client teams and explain our delivery process is a must. You will architect and present customized cloud solutions during the sales process for bids through statement of works.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide sales engineering support to the COMPAREX field sales professionals
  • Drive opportunity engagement to achieve financial goals for field sales professionals
  • Deliver as a Subject Matter Expert for Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and Yammer solutions
  • Demonstrate the value of Microsoft’s cloud solutions through onsite and remote demonstrations
  • Discover and analyze prospective clients technical requirements
  • Sell professional and managed services consistently as part of a total solution
  • Architect and present customized Microsoft cloud solutions through SOWs
  • Educate prospective clients through webinar, technical blogs or white papers
  • Conduct cloud readiness assessments and analysis of prospective customer environments
  • Stay current on Microsoft cloud and emerging technologies
  • Achievement of Virtual Technical Solution Professional and Microsoft Experience Center Certification

 

Results Measured & Metrics 

The Cloud Collaboration Architect will be paid a base salary plus bonus plan. The Cloud Collaboration Architect’s primary measurement of success will be based on the achievement of financial goals and the attainment of activity metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical consulting or system integration project management for enterprise accounts; customer-facing experience a must
  • 5+ years designing, deploying and managing Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Experience designing, architecting, and implementing client solution design for customers ranging from mid-market to the Enterprise.
  • Previous experience in sales engineering preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of developing relationships at the engineering, commercial, and executive levels
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Proven track record of selling services as part of a solution
  • Certification in MSCE: SharePoint preferred
  • Willing to travel up to 75% (nationally)
